A BelSU Graduate: The Journey of a Cardiologist, Educator and Mentor

Adriana Michelle Sanchez Pozo, from Bolivia, graduated from Belgorod State University (BelSU) in 2019. The medical education she received in Russia became the foundation for her subsequent professional career in cardiology and medical education.

Her decision to study in Russia was a deliberate one. Adriana sought to receive a strong foundation in medical sciences in a country with well-established academic traditions. Her particular interest in cardiology was also influenced by the conditions in her home country, where the high-altitude environment makes cardiovascular diseases a particularly important area of medical care.

Following her graduation, she began her professional career in healthcare institutions. During the COVID-19 pandemic, she was actively involved in hospital work, providing medical care to patients. The knowledge and practical skills she had acquired during her studies enabled her to make a meaningful contribution to healthcare during this challenging period.

Today, Adriana Michelle Sanchez Pozo combines clinical practice with academic work. She holds a leadership position in the academic field and is involved in the training of future medical professionals, sharing her expertise and promoting the professional values of medicine.

Дилбар Салиева — выпускница НИУ «БелГУ», бакалавр 2021 года и магистр 2023 года по направлению «Организация работы с молодёжью». Учёба в БелГУ стала для неё временем постоянного движения, новых впечатлений и профессиональных открытий. Её студенческая жизнь была насыщенной и многогранной: участие в конференциях, международных проектах, поездках в Москву, Калугу, Тулу и Екатеринбург, а также активная работа в танцевальном коллективе «Алиса Терпсихора». Эти годы научили Дилбар совмещать несколько сфер деятельности, развивая организованность, коммуникабельность и способность работать в команде. После выпуска Дилбар строила карьеру стремительно: сначала менеджер по продажам, затем директор филиала, отвечавшая за подбор и обучение сотрудников, стратегическое планирование и управление процессами. Сегодня она работает в IT, в отделе контроля качества, где навыки работы с людьми и организация командной работы помогают ей добиваться высоких результатов. Помимо профессиональной деятельности, Дилбар совмещает материнство и личное развитие. Она активно участвует в жизни семьи, занимается спортом, заботится о доме и продолжает развивать свои компетенции. Свободное время посвящает поездкам на природу, совместным мероприятиям с коллегами и встречам с друзьями, где вспоминаются студенческие годы и университетские события. Dilbar Salieva is a graduate of Belgorod State University (BelSU), having completed her Bachelor’s degree in Youth Work Organization in 2021 and her Master’s degree in the same field in 2023. Her years at BelSU were marked by constant activity, new experiences and professional discoveries.

Her student life was rich and diverse. She took part in conferences and international projects, travelled to Moscow, Kaluga, Tula and Yekaterinburg, and was actively involved in the Alisa Terpsikhora dance group. These experiences taught Dilbar to balance multiple areas of activity while developing strong organizational, communication and teamwork skills.

After graduation, Dilbar built her career rapidly. She began as a Sales Manager and later became a Branch Director, where she was responsible for recruitment and employee training, strategic planning and process management. Today, she works in the IT sector in quality control, where her experience working with people and organizing teams helps her achieve strong professional results.

Alongside her professional career, Dilbar combines motherhood with personal development. She remains actively involved in family life, exercises regularly, takes care of her home and continues to develop her professional competencies. In her free time, she enjoys trips to nature, activities with colleagues and meeting friends, where she often recalls her student years and university experiences.
