BelSU graduate Ghaith Ghaith — from Head of the Iraqi Student Community to Russian GTO Champion!
We continue our series of success stories with Abbas Ghaith, a determined graduate from Iraq whose journey is a remarkable example of how to make the most of your university years.
He graduated from the Institute of Pharmacy at Belgorod State University (BelSU) in 2024. During his studies, he combined academic achievement, leadership and an active sporting life.

“Enrolling at BelSU marked the beginning of my sporting career and active student life. Becoming a Russian champion was the greatest achievement for me and my family,” Ghaith shares.

Today, Ghaith works as a pharmacist in Iraq, but he is not stopping there. His ambitions include developing his career in entrepreneurship and sport, with the goal of becoming a successful businessman and an athlete on the international stage.
